Jonas was born in Melacca, in the year 1996 but grew up in Johor Bahru. Ever since he was young, he held a deep passion for drawing. He used painting as a way to capture, record and keep his memories. The concept of his paintings revolve around his family, friends and daily objects that are closely related to his childhood uch as clothing, food, housing or transportations. However, he particularly loves rusty objects, since it is able to represent the passing of time and the story that each object carries.
